Lauren Strack, PT, DPT, Cert MDT
Lauren joined the Summit Physical Therapy team upon completion of her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University in 2010. Lauren obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from Siena College in 2006.
In 2014, Lauren became certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Lauren continues her education with courses which focus on post-surgical rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee, Vestibular Assessment and Retraining, Treatment of balance and falls, and treatment of low back pain during pregnancy.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys her most important role as a Mom. She loves spending time traveling and exploring with her young children and family. In addition, Lauren continues to enjoy exercising at home and swimming.
Fun Fact: A life long lover of water sports, Lauren was a member of the Waterpolo team at Siena College
Matt Brown, PT, DPT
Matt joined the Summit Physical Therapy team in 2023 after previously graduating from the University of Buffalo in 1999 with his BS in PT.
Matt has always had interest in the healthcare field. He enjoys connecting with patients on a personal level and truly providing a one on one patient experience. He finds providing the knowledge to become independent and get patients back to doing the things they truly enjoy the most rewarding.
Fun Fact: In his time away from Summit he enjoys hiking, mountain biking, fishing and autocross.
Michelle Sawyer, PTA

Jessica Woodard, PT, DPT, Cert MDT
Jessica joined the Summit Physical Therapy team upon completion of her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from State University of Buffalo in 2015 and relocated to Syracuse from Pittsburgh, PA.
In 2019, Jess became Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. She has continued her education by attending courses with a focus in orthopedic care, post-surgical care and balance and fall training.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys traveling and staying active while also spending time with her daughter, family and friends. Jess enjoys exercising, running and has participated in several spartan and running races.
Fun Fact: Jessica is a dual- citizen as she was born in Vancouver, Canada, and moved to Pittsburgh as a child.
